Back in 2008 Gemma O’Brien aka Mrs Eaves had worldwide Internet exposure with her video ‘Write here, right now’ featured below.
The video took 8 hours to complete with 5 permanent markers and was part of a campaign to promote writing on designated graffiti spaces rather than someone elses property. Following the video Gemma was invited by FontShop to the 14th European Design Conference TYPO Berlin 2009 where the main feature video (top) was recorded. ISTHISTHEFUTURE wasn’t around then so we’ve decided to feature this now – cos it’s Hot !!! Enjoy !!!

The full 10 members of ‘The Weird crew’ (Rookie, Dxtr, Nychos, Low Bros, Frau Isa, Look, Cone, Vidam, Herr von Bias) were invited to take part at the 10th anniversary of 4560 Urban Art Meeting, Saarbrücken. It is not often that they all get a chance to paint a wall with all ten members so this time they decided to create something ‘huge’ – “Leonardo da Weird”.

Replete, graffiti artist from Leeds West Yorkshire UK who has been creating some very interesting ‘fusion illusions’ combining anamorphic optical illusion floor graffiti cling film installations. This new graffiti illusion of an F15 jet fighter made of folded $20 bills was painted in a derlict printworks in Leeds UK upon several layers of clingfilm spread 20 feet apart. The bombs below are painted anamorphically on the floor inbetween. A worlds first combining these techniques.

Here are a couple more stunning flotation pieces utilising multi-layered cling film to give this real dimension.. You can see more photos from Replete over on his website www.repletes.net on on his facebook page
